FLOW is an in-network provider with most major health insurance carriers and Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs). If your insurance carrier is not listed here, we encourage you to reach out to our Intake Team to verify your benefits, as we are at times still able to work with other plans.
Our Intake Team will always verify your insurance benefits prior to your first appointment and are happy to help answer any questions you may have.

Sliding Scale Fees
At FLOW, we never want finances to be a reason that someone doesn’t receive the support they need and deserve. If we are not in network with your insurance carrier or you are uninsured/underinsured, we offer two different options to receive affordable support, a sliding scale fee system and a Clinical Internship Program (see below). Sliding scale fees are calculated based on .001% of your income with the lowest availble fee being $85/session.

Clinical Interns
Who are clinical interns?
Our Clinical Interns are highly trained professionals in the last legs of their graduate program on their way to becoming Board Certified, Licensed Professional Counselors. Many have already gained valuable experience working as professionals in the field prior to beginning their Clinical Internship with FLOW. As the therapeutic relationship is so important, all of our Interns are required to work with us for a minimum of 2 semesters (9 months) after their practicum experience with FLOW. Many stay on board as full-time Therapists after their graduation. While in Clinical Internship, our Interns work closely with experienced Clinical Supervisors, including our Clinical Director, Jamie Nichols, to ensure that their Clients are fully supported.
Why might I work with a clinical intern?
Clinical Interns provide an affordable support option for those who are uninsured or under insured. However, that’s not the only reason to work with a Clinical Intern! If you’re visiting this page, we may have even recommended a Clinical Intern to you instead of one of our full time Therapists. During our intake process, we take great care to ensure that our new Clients are connected with the Therapist that will be the very best fit for them. Often we find that to be one of our wonderful Clinical Interns. These Interns bring not only a fresh perspective and passion for their work, but also the most cutting edge, evidence based treatment to their work with Clients.
How much does it cost to work with a clinical intern?
Due to Health Insurance regulations we are not able to bill insurance for sessions with Clinical Interns. This is a money saving advantage for many of our Clients!
In order to provide quality, affordable care, we offer sessions with Clinical Interns for $40 per session. We are also happy to work with those on a limited budget if a lower session rate is required.
