Yoga & Wellness Team
Megan Connolly, E-RYT, Reiki Master/Teacher
Lead Yoga Instructor & Wellness Operations Manager
Specializes in: Gentle Yoga - Restorative Yoga - Chair Yoga/Workouts - Vinyasa - Energy Work
Megan has been practicing yoga for over 20 years, she was introduced to it when she was in high school from a family friend who later became a certified yoga teacher herself! The first class she took was a restorative yoga class on a bath towel in candlelight followed by hot tea, not having a clue that class would change her life. The feeling of complete relaxation and happiness was so needed in the time of being a high school student feeling the stress of finding a college, moving away from home, and making real-time adult decisions, a lot to ask for!
Megan continued the practice while away at college but fell away from it a bit as she forged her career path. She fell in love with her now husband who has supported this journey from the very start, taking her classes (pre-kids!) or asking for some poses to work out a physical ailment. Megan is also a certified Reiki Master and offers in-person & virtual healing sessions and certifications.
Megan finds so much joy in sharing the practice of yoga, mindfulness, and Reiki, hoping her students walk away feeling how she did in her very first yoga class. Her teaching style is joyful and healing, bringing elements of pranayama, meditation, mantra, Reiki, movement, and alignment, and if called to, the use of her energy cards to help bring further guidance to those needing it!
If Megan isn’t on her mat or in the studio you’ll find her in the kitchen baking sweet (healthy) treats, out for a walk, watching her son play baseball or brushing knots out of her daughter’s hair.
